The team at the Institute for Production and Logistics Management (PLM) conducts research on methods in Prescriptive Analytics / Operations Research, with applications in logistics, production, transport, and supply chain management. A current research focus lies in the integration of sustainability aspects, which often leads to multi-criteria decision-making problems, as well as decision-making under uncertainty and the combination of (machine) learning / forecasting with optimization.
