The Institute for Applied Logistics (IAL) is a central scientific institution of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) and has been developing practical and implementation-oriented solutions for current issues in the broad field of logistics since 2006. The focus is always on creating future-proof and sustainable solutions. As a project partner and research institution, the institute works in close cooperation with companies from industry, trade, and the logistics service sector, as well as with municipal partners, and is also involved in interdisciplinary projects. The IAL contributes experience from numerous successfully completed projects for various state and federal ministries, as well as for private-sector companies.
