University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria - Hagenberg Campus

Research and development at the FH Upper Austria Campus Hagenberg is fully dedicated to computer science, communication, and media. Twelve research groups work within four major thematic focus areas to develop innovative solutions for the digital future:

- Software Technology and Applications
- Living in Old Age
The research groups are firmly embedded in national and international networks of universities, research institutions, and companies. This environment fosters the successful development of centers of excellence that serve as comprehensive partners for businesses, as well as consortia for large EU projects. These efforts benefit not only the regional economy but also the students, who are directly involved in the research activities. Furthermore, they contribute to the ongoing development of Hagenberg as a center for applied IT research.
