Automated uncoupling process for classification yards
About the Project
EntKuRo delivered the following results:
- Development of a prototype for automated uncoupling of extended screw couplings on the hump yard in Linz marshalling yard
- Analysis of operational and economic impacts of such an implementation
- Development of a technical demonstrator for automated extension of screw couplings in the receiving yard of a marshalling yard with hump operation.
